Digital Graphics SIG* Meeting: Marble Falls Public
Library at 10:15 a.m. Bring questions and problems for
discussion and solutions.
The HLCC (main
group) meetings are usually held on 2nd Wednesdays of
each month, 10:30 a.m., at the Marble Falls Library. Joining
the group for lunch after the meetings is optional.
The HLCC Digital
Graphics SIG* Meetings normally begin at 10:15 a.m. in
the Marble Falls Library on 4th Tuesdays. Those who wish
retire to a local eatery for lunch following the meeting.
The HLCC Audio/Visual
SIG's* activities are currently conducted via its mailing
list.
Note that HLCC-TXAOS
SIG* meetings previously held on an ad hoc basis have
been discontinued. The Highland Lakes Linux User Group
(not affiliated with HLCC) meets at the Marble Falls Library
the 3rd Saturday and the Lakeshore Branch Library on the
1st Saturday of the month from 2-4PM. Both meetings are
free and open to the public. Contact: 830-693-5193 or

The HLCC normally meets on the second Wednesday of each month,
10:00 a.m., at the Marble Falls Library. The meetings
are friendly, informal and informative, with the objective of
fostering mutual PC-related help and friendships. There are
no officers, no dues and no duties -- just good times. Meeting
Co-Moderators are Charlie
Beierle and Wayne
Cheney.
Plain text is preferred -- formatting will be stripped before
sending to members who have not indicated in their HLCC-TX
Profile that formatted e-mails are acceptable.
Nothing commercial. However an occasional personal ad seeking
or selling PC related items is OK.
Use the list to ask PC related questions and to answer such
questions from others.
Do not post virus warnings, hoaxes or any e-mail that asks
you to 'send to everyone you know' (or words to that effect).
If you think it should be posted, send it to a List
Moderator, with whatever verification you've already done.
It'll be posted if appropriate.
Cross-posting is against this list's rules. Postings to
this list (and the other HLCC lists) should include only one
address -- that of the list. Inclusion of other addresses
compromises the security of the closed list and its members,
causes confusion, results in bouncing messages when Forwarded
or Replied to, and causes additional work for the Moderators.
Announcements of general on-topic interest are not discouraged
under this rule, however, please send them via separate e-mails
with only one list address per e-mail.
Address any problems, questions or criticism privately to
a List Moderator.
Picture files can be posted in the Photos Section and must
be in GIF, PNG or JPG format, and should not exceed 50K per
file. Create your own album(s) and upload into your
own album(s) rather than filling the root of the Photos section
with individual pics.
HTM/HTML, PDF and TXT files can be posted in the Files Section.
Note that graphics in HTM files must be linked to their respective
graphics files outside YahooGroups. Avoid posting DOC, XLS
and other application-dependent files to the Files Section
-- convert them to HTM/HTML, PDF or TXT before posting.
The list is not a joke channel, nor is it a chat channel.

to be a ready source of matters pertaining to capture and
playing of audio and video information. It currently is
conducted as part of the main HLCC meetings as well as its
mailing list that has already archived a lot of useful SIG-related
