Who Can Shoot? |
|
While other sports are a test of endurance, skill, strength, and speed of the competitor, shooting sports is primarily a test of skill. Although good physical conditioning is important for everyone, you do not have to be a fast runner, be able to shoot baskets, lift heavy weights, catch a ball, or swing a bat to participate in shooting sports. You do not have to be strong from lifting weights which is required for other contact sports. Shooting sports uses the athlete’s mental control, balance, and muscle control. Shooting sports is not dependant on strength, speed, or physical size. Shooting sports is a non-contact sport where athletes compete against each other yet never lay a hand on any other person.
Is it safe? It is one the safest sports available today. Surveys on sports related injuries can be found by searching on the Internet. See for yourself! |
